The Hamilton Police Service is currently investigating a theft of an estimated $100,000 worth of blue berries and some other fruits.
The blue berries were stolen sometime between 3pm and 11:30pm on Sunday February 5, 2017.
It has been determined that the suspect gained access to a commercial refrigeration truck parked at 555 Seaman Drive in Stoney Creek and drove the truck and trailer into the Toronto area.
The truck has since been recovered but the trailer and large quantity of blue berries has not been recovered at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
