(HOWICK, ON) -On November 9, 2011 the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Harriston Road in Wroxeter.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized a large amount of cannabis marihuana bud and cannabis marihuana shake. The value of the drugs is estimated at over $10, 000.
As a result of the investigation, Lance BRIGHTON (50) and Rhonda WHITLOCK (47) both of Howick Township have been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the purpose of trafficking. BRIGHTON is currently held in custody to answer to his charges at a later date at the Ontario Court of Justice- Walkerton. WHITLOCK will answer to her charges at the Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich on January 19, 2012.
