(South Bruce Arran-Elderslie, ON) On Thursday, 09 May, 2013, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of South Bruce OPP and South Bruce Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Highway 21, Arran-Elderslie (Allenford), South Bruce.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, an indoor marihuana grow operation was revealed. Police seized cannabis marihuana plants. The estimated value of the seized controlled substances was $10,640.00. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of marihuana production equipment with an estimated value of $500.00.
Robert PINCH (42 years) of Arran-Elderslie was arrested and charged with production of cannabis marihuana. PINCH was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking.
