The Bruce County Junior Farmers began in Walkerton in 1927 and by1948 there were over 145 members with six active clubs operating outof: Port Elgin, Chesley, Ripley, Teeswater, Walkerton and Mildmay.In 1980 the six clubs were still operating with over 400 members.Today there is only one club operating between Teeswater andKincardine with around 30 members.
