On the 11th of August 2014 at around 9 p.m. Chatham-Kent Police responded to collision involving a deer. The collision occurred on Talbot Trail near Kent Bridge Road in the former Harwich Township. The 30 year old male driver from Brantford was not hurt however the deer caused about $5000 to the vehicle.
