The holiday weekend brought with it a notable increase in noise complaints throughout the city of Barrie. Holiday weekend residential fesitivities combined with an influx of returning college students were major contributing factors. The Barrie Police responded to a south-east Barrie address after a citizen reported 2-4 youths throwing an assortment of vegetables into her pool and at the front of her home. The youths fled when confronted. The area was checked with negative results.
