The person at the helm did not have a Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card. The investigation continued, and an approved alcohol screening device was utilized. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on August 5, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.

An approved screening device was also utilized for the individual who attended the Bancroft Detachment to pick-up the accused. That person was issued an immediate three-day licence suspension for registering in the warning range for alcohol consumption.
