(DAWN EUPHEMIA, ON) – An individual from Thamesville is facing impaired driving-related charges following a traffic stop in Dawn-Euphemia.
On December 17, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Huffs Corners Road, south of Lambton Line.
As a result of the investigation, William BROAD, 30-years-old, of Thamesville, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with the following offences:
· Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Operation while Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on February 9, 2026.
