Violent Stabbing – Suspects At Large

On December 25 at 1:45 am Sarnia police were called to the area of Wiltshire Drive and Murphy Rd in the City of Sarnia for a report of an injured male.  Police located a 30-year-old male with multiple lacerations and with significant blood loss.  Officers provided emergency first aid while waiting for the ambulance to arrive, applying a pressure dressing to a leg wound.  He was transported to hospital.

After attending to the victim’s injuries, police located and secured the scene.

Investigation revealed that the victim had been walking through Wiltshire Park (near the Howard Watson Trail) when he was attacked by two unknown males.  The victim was struck and stabbed multiple times before being robbed of multiple personal items.

At hospital, the victim was determined to have non-life threatening injuries.  This included a major laceration on his thigh and left shoulder. There were also minor lacerations on his arm, the top of his head, his face, and defensive wounds on his hands.

As a result of evidence obtained, police believe that one of the suspects may also have sustained injuries.
