(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM, ON) – Charges have been laid after a train and a car collided in Blandford-Blenheim Township.
On June 7, 2025, at approximately 5:30 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford detachment, responded to a collision involving a car and a train.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Katie BILLINGS, a 38-year-old resident of Cambridge has been charged with the following criminal offences:
· Dangerous Operation
· Operation While Impaired
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on July 15, 2025.
Police want to remind the public that no amount of drugs or alcohol is safe to operate a vehicle. Please drive safe, drive sober.
