Steven OOSTERVELD – Drunk Driving

(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – Police arrest an impaired driver while on general patrol in Norwich Township.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment, initiated a traffic stop on Highway 59 in Norwich Township.

After speaking to the driver, police observed further signs of impairment and made an arrest.

After conducting testing at the detachment Steven OOSTERVELD, 48 years-of-age of Woodstock, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·               Operation While Impaired

·               Operation While Impaired -Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

·               Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Woodstock on April 2, 2024.
