On September 9, 2026, officers with Patrol Services, charged 25-year-old Justin Marcello with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Around 1:30 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault at a residence in the 0-100 block of Blucher Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused had stabbed a victim twice with a knife and struck them with an object. The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. The victim and accused are known to one another. The accused was arrested.

- Assault with a Weapon
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
