(ORILLIA, ON) – Members of the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on high alert over the weekend as the holiday season is rapidly approaching and the OPP Festive RIDE campaign kicks off across the region.
Officers from the Orillia detachment of the OPP was on high alert all weekend as the OPP festive RIDE campaign kicks off for the holiday season. Between November 22, 2024, and November 25, 2024, Officers conducted multiple traffic stops leading to five individuals be charged with ten total charges and five vehicles being towed.
As a result, John STRYBOSCH; 60-year-old, from London, ON. has been subsequently charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
- Operation while impaired – 80 plus
John BURLEIGH; 62-year-old, from Wasaga Beach, ON. has been subsequently charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
- Operation while impaired – 80 plus
Ka Chung KWOK; 43-year-old, from Orillia, ON. has been subsequently charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
- Operation while impaired – 80 plus
Meghan KRANERT; 32-year-old, from Parry Sound, ON. has been subsequently charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol or Drug
And Andrew TROTTIER; 29-year-old, from Barrie, ON. has been subsequently charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
- Operation while impaired – 80 plus
- Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
