Police Release Video Of Suspect

The Sarnia Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a break and enter at a local storage facility earlier this month.

On April 10, 2026, between approximately 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., an unknown individual broke into a storage unit facility on Campbell Street. The suspect gained entry on the east side of the perimeter through a hole cut in the fence before proceeding to damage and enter multiple storage units within the property.

Five units were targeted during the incident. The suspect forcibly broke locks and door latches, causing thousands of dollars in damage. The list and value of items stolen from these units remains under investigation while the owners attend and assess the situation at their respective units.

Security footage obtained from the business shows the suspect entering the property at approximately 4:00 a.m. The individual is seen wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the front and black pants. The suspect kept their hood up and turned their head away from the camera in an apparent attempt to avoid identification.

A short video clip showing the suspect walking on the property is linked below. Although the footage is of limited quality, investigators are hopeful that someone may recognize the suspect.
