(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On August 18th, 2025, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into sexual assaults that occurred between 2020 & 2022, within the Township of Gillies, approximately 30 kilometers south-west of the City of Thunder Bay.
As a result of the investigation, Greg LEITERMAN, 73, of Wetaskiwin County, Alberta (Formerly from Thunder Bay) was charged with the following:
- Two counts of Sexual Interference;
- Two counts of Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 years of age;
And Marilyn LEITERMAN, 63, of Wetaskiwin County, Alberta (Formerly from Thunder Bay) was charged with the following:
- Three counts of Assault;
Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on December 10th, 2025.
