(SUDBURY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged one person with impaired driving offences.
On March 29, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the OPP responded to a traffic complaint of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) swerving on Highway 17, Sudbury.
Police located the vehicle and arrested the driver for impaired driving, then transported the driver to Greater Sudbury Police Service for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Marko PEYANOVICH, 45 years-of-age, from Woodstock, New Brunswick, was charged with:
- operation while impaired – alcohol
- operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Drive motor vehicle, not in accordance with permit limitations.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 16, 2025, in Sudbury.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
