Logan CASSISTA Was Arrested

(POINT EDWARD, ON) – On Monday June 17, 2024, at just after 2:00 a.m., a member of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop for an HTA violation on Michigan Avenue, Point Edward, Ontario.    

In speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the OPP officer suspected the driver of previously consuming alcoholic beverages. A roadside screening device was administered. The driver was consequently placed under arrest and transported to the Lambton OPP – Petrolia Detachment for breath testing which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Logan CASSISTA, a 24-year-old from Sarnia ON has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on July 24, 2024. The motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 7 days and the driver has had their licence suspended for a period of 90 days.
