(CALLANDER, ON) – Twelve drivers have been charged with impaired driving offences by the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in the month of July 2025.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the North Bay OPP was conducting patrol on Highway 94 in Callander when the ALPR system notified the officer of a suspended driver. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was arrested for driving while disqualified. Officers determined the individual had been consuming alcohol and transported them to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing.
