John Salvagna Facing Impaired Driving Charge

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Tuesday December 1^st, 2020 at approximately 10:12 a.m., Officers from the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a car swerving from shoulder to shoulder while being driven on highway #35 in the township of Lake of Bays. Police conducted a traffic stop of the car and determined that the driver was under the influence of an intoxicating substance. 

The investigation resulted in John Salvagna a 52 year old male from Algonquin Highlands Township, Ontario being charged with the following:

–  Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired, contrary to section 320.14 (1)(a) 

  of the Criminal Code.

Salvagna was released and will be appearing in the Ontario Court of Justice, Huntsville Ontario, on January 20^th, 2020 to answer to his charge.
