Hit & Run – Karanvir MANN Arrested

(CALEDON, ON) – Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a failed to remain collision and charged a driver with over four times the legal limit with impaired operation.

On April 10, 2025, shortly after 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a collision on Dotchson Avenue, where a vehicle had failed to remain at the scene. Officers located the vehicle and met with the driver. During the interaction, grounds were formed that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol, leading to the driver’s arrest.

As a result of the investigation, Karanvir MANN, 33, of Caledon, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

• Operation while impaired – alcohol 

• Dangerous operation

• Fail to remain

• Fail to report damage to property on highway

The accused is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on May 1, 2025, to answer to the charges. The driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven.
