Do You Recognize This Assault Suspect?

LONDON, ON (January 9, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Uniformed Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault in the north end of the city last month.

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a woman leaving a business was assaulted by an unknown woman in the area of Fanshawe Park Road East and North Centre Road.

The suspect fled the area before police were contacted.

The victim was transported to hospital by paramedic services with non-life-threatening injuries.

She has since been released.

Officers reviewed video surveillance footage from the area and obtained images of the suspect female.

The suspect is described as female, Black, approximately 5’4” with long black hair wearing a black winter coat, white hoodie style sweatshirt, black pants and white socks and shoes.

A photo of the suspect has been added in hopes that the public can assist with identifying her.

Police are asking anyone that may have been in the area of Fanshawe Park Road East and North Centre Road on Sunday, December 22, 2024, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., who may have witnessed this event or be able to identify this suspect, to call the London Police Service.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
