Chelsea CASCADDEN – Drunk Driving

(TECUMSEH, ON) – Driver charged with impaired operation after vehicle leaves road and enters ditch.

On November 2, 2024, at 7:18 p.m., a member of the Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), was conducting traffic enforcement on North Talbot Road and 9^th Concession Road in the Town of Tecumseh when a single motor vehicle drove off the roadway.

The officer checked on the condition of the driver, determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol and was arrested and transported to a local OPP detachment.

As a result, Chelsea CASCADDEN a 32-year-old of Essex, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·        Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

·        Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Windsor to speak to the charges on November 12, 2024.

The driver was not injured.
