Barrie Police have charged a man in connection with a historical sexual assault and believe there may be more victims.
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, police charged Brice Bunn, also known as Brice Jacobs, 38, with sexual assault and sexual interference in relation to an incident that occurred in August 2014 at the former Spotlight Event Centre on Essa Road, where he was the owner and manager at the time.
The investigation was launched in March after the victim, who was 15 years old at the time of the incident, came forward. Bunn is also accused in two other similar incidents that occurred at local establishments where he was employed as a manager.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences.
