(WEST PERTH, ON) – On June 5, 2021, just after 11:00 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on general patrol in the Municipality of West Perth conducted a traffic stop on Perth Line 36. Police spoke with the vehicle driver and an Approved Screening Device was utilized. The driver was arrested and transported to a local OPP detachment where further tests were administered.
As a result, Quinn BUCHANAN, 22, of Zorra Township, has been charged with:
- Operation While Impaired- Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day driving suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused in this matter was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
