(MIDDLESEX, ON) – On May 4, 2021 at 12:37 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a complaint of a disruptive person at a business on Hagerty Road in Newbury.
The individual refused police direction to leave the premises and became combative. Police took the suspect into custody.
Daniel BLAGDON, a 56-year-old of Wardsville, Ontario has been charged with:
- Resist Peace Officer, section 129(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Assault a Peace Officer, section 270(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Enter premises when entry prohibited, section 2(1)(a)(i) of the Trespass to Property Act
The accused has been released from custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in London on June 21, 2021.
