Mark KOVACS Was Arrested

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Central Huron resident with an impaired driving offence following a traffic stop on November 28, 2025, in the Town of Clinton, Municipality of Central Huron. 

Just after 11:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle on William Street North in Clinton. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.

The accused provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Mark KOVACS, 52 years-of-age from Central Huron has been charged with:

–      Impaired Operation – Over 80.

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on January 05, 2025.
