(LUCKNOW, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual following an incident in the Municipality Huron-Kinloss.
On Monday, March 30, 2026, just before 9:00 a.m., South Bruce OPP officers were contacted about a male who had been trespassing during the previous night at an address in the Municipality of Huron-Kinloss within the town of Lucknow, and who had since returned that morning to the property.
While investigating the incident, the suspect assaulted an OPP officer. The accused was taken into custody without further incident.
Kent BIEMAN, 51 years old of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
· Assault a Peace Officer
· Trespassing at Night
· Causing a Disturbance
· Uttering threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
· Resist Peace Officer
The accused was processed at the South Bruce OPP detachment, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Walkerton on May 6, 2026.
