(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH TWP, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a St. Catherines, Ontario resident with impaired driving offences following a traffic stop on October 12th, 2025, in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township.
Just after 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop for a speeding vehicle on Belgrave Road in ACW Twp. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation.
The accused provided breath samples before a qualified Intoxilyzer Breath Technician at the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton. Breath samples provided to police resulted in readings over the legal limit.
Hunter QUINN, 32 years-of-age from St. Catherines, has been charged with:
– Impaired Operation – Alcohol and Drug,
– Impaired Operation – Over 80.
The accused was additionally charged with offences found in the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 17th, 2025.
