(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A resident of Goderich has been arrested and is facing Impaired Operation charges stemming from a single vehicle crash that was investigated by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) late last year.
On Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:41 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services and Lucknow Fire Department responded to a single vehicle collision located on Bluewater Veteran’s Highway south of Amberley. Upon arrival first responders located a pickup truck that was upside down in the ditch and a driver that was trapped inside. Emergency responders were able to extricate the driver and were able to transport him to hospital for his injuries.
While speaking with the driver the investigating officer noted the driver had consumed some alcohol and was displaying some signs of impairment.
