30 Year Old From Teeswater Arrested – Police Withhold Name For Criminal’s Protection #RatBoy #3Strikes

(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – A Teeswater driver is charged following a traffic stop.

On January 19, 2026, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a member of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit was conducting proactive traffic enforcement on Highway 6, outside of Kenilworth, when the cruiser’s Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) notified the officer of a vehicle travelling with missing licence plates. A traffic stop was initiated.

As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old from Teeswater, is charged under the Criminal Code, the Highway Traffic Act, and the Liquor Licence and Control Act with:

  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Drive motor vehicle with open container of liquor
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • Use plate not authorized for vehicle
  • Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph at a later date.

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused’s name is being withheld, out of concern for their well being.
