22 Year Old From Morris-Turnberry Arrested – Details Released

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY TWP, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Morris-Turnberry Township resident with criminal driving offences following a traffic stop on Amberley Road in Morris-Turnberry Township. 

In the early morning hours of Monday, January 26, 2026, Huron County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop after observing a driver operate their vehicle in a dangerous manner. Police spoke to the driver who had consumed alcohol prior to driving.

The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton where they provided breath samples before a qualified OPP Intoxilyzer Breath Technician. Breath samples were provided to police which resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Mika BOLOGNONE, 22 years-of-age from Morris-Turnberry Twp has been charged with:

–      Dangerous Operation,

–      Operation while Impaired – Over 80.

The accused was additionally charged with several offences found in the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA), Highway Traffic Act (HTA), and Liquor Licence Control Act (LLCA).

The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on March 30, 2026.
