On Thursday, April 16th, 2026, members of the Hanover Police Service were requested to attend for an unwanted person in the 500 block of 10th Avenue. On arrival, police observed a 28-year-old man of no fixed address. Police were aware that the man was on court ordered conditions not to be at the address with one of the people present. The man also had an active arrest warrant for missing court the day prior. Hanover Police arrested the man without incident. He was charged under the Criminal Code with Failure to Comply. The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Walkerton.
