(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual was charged following an impaired driving incident in Simcoe.
At approximately 6:18 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a suspected impaired driver on Highway 24 in Simcoe, Norfolk County.
Officers located the vehicle on Highway 24 and, after conducting a roadside sobriety test, arrested the driver without incident.
32-year-old Aaron THOMPSON from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offence:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
