33 Year Old Suspended Driver From Wroxeter Caught Again

(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Wroxeter resident with some driving related offences following a traffic stop conducted last weekend in Wroxeter.

On August 7, 2021 at approximately 2:25 a.m. a Huron OPP officer was patrolling on Harriston Road when he observed a motorcycle pass by without a licence plate attached to the vehicle. The officer turned around and eventually was able to stop the motorcycle on Main Street in Wroxeter.

Upon speaking with the driver the investigating officer learned the driver was driving with a suspended driver’s licence. Additionally, the motorcycle was not insured and there was no licence plate attached.  

As a result, a 33-year-old from Wroxeter has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension – 3 counts, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Plate and Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. The defendant will now have to attend Provincial Offences Act Court in Goderich on September 21, 2021 at Provincial Offences Act Court in Goderich on September 21, 2021.
