The proposed super school that might be built near the High School still faces 3 more appeals. The super school can not be built until the three remaining appeals are are resolved. The Ontario Municipal Board has waived Rick Elliotts zoning concern. The remaining concerns are about pedestrian/vehicle traffic and zoning.

Laurie HAMILTON (47) of Listowel has been identified as the victim in this house fire. A 43 year old male, a 17 year old female and a 15 year old male all were able to escape the fire.
