The London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section continues to
investigate a sexual assault that occurred between approximately 7:00 p.m.
and 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday November 1, 2016.
A lone adult female was jogging along the trail system in the area behind Acorn
Crescent and Edgehill Crescent when she was grabbed and assaulted by an
unknown person. She received assistance at the scene by an unidentified citizen.
The suspect in the assault is described as male, possibly wearing a dark hooded
sweatshirt.
Investigators are still trying to identify and speak to the citizen who came to the victim’s aid.
The good samaritan is described as a male, white with a tanned or olive complexion, 5’10-6’0″
