(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On December 18, 2016 at approximately 5:10 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of people running down the road after a horse pulling a tipped carriage on Grey Rd. 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Upon arrival police learned that the horse-drawn vehicle was having difficulty maneuvering through the snow and ice causing the carriage to tip. The occupants of the vehicle, a Grey Highlands family of six fell out of the carriage. Fortunately no one was injured. The horse was located unharmed.
