(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Wednesday December 7, 2016 an alert citizen observed a significant amount of cash lying on Wallace Avenue North in the Municipality of North Perth. The citizen collected the cash and turned it over to the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Officers were able to determine that the cash had been lost by a customer who had just withdrawn it from a local bank. Arrangements were made to return the money to the customer.
