Despite the Wingham police costing 2X as much as the OPP, they continue to refuse to keep the Public informed. This allows criminals to thrive while the law-abiding Public is left completely in the dark under the illusion that there is zero crime in Wingham. Due to the Wingham police’s refusal to inform the Public, victims have taken to Facebook to look for witnesses and to inform the Public.

Hi everyone, I got somebody broke into my place sunday afternoon around 12:30 pm to 2:00pm. I lost a lot of things that mean lot to me. Including my wedding rings and the gifts from my grandparents to my children. My apartment is upstair of the Great China House Restaurant. Front door located in main street. Back door is facing the parking lot of the Library and the police office. If anyone saw anything please contact me or the police officer. I am really scared. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
