(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On December 24, 2016 at approximately 6:35 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officers were called to assist a male who was driving 2003 GMC pickup that had left the roadway and was partially in a ditch on Wellington Road 2 near Wellington Road 3, Town of Minto. Police found the man waiting in the truck and he appeared to be impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing which resulted in a fail.
44-year-old Brent CRISPIN from the Town of Minto is charged with Impaired Care or Control and Over 80 Mgs Care or Control contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 7, 2017. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
