Domestic Assault
(Innisfil, ON) On Sunday, January 1, 2017, around 9:40 p.m., South Simcoe Police were called to an Innisfil home for a report of a domestic assault. Officers learned that a woman threatened both her husband and son and assaulted her husband by slapping his face. She also damaged the home by smashing plates in the kitchen.
A 44 year old Alcona woman was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault, Weapons Dangerous, Mischief Under $1000 and 3 counts of Uttering Threats. She was held in custody for a bail hearing. The victims did not require medical attention.

(Bradford, ON) On Monday, January 2, 2017, around 4:45 p.m., South Simcoe Police went to a Bradford home for a report of a domestic assault. Officers were told that a woman assaulted her husband and then her step son. Alcohol was a factor in the incident. The woman was charged with 2 counts of Assault. As part of her release conditions, she was required to live elsewhere. She will appear in court later this month. The victims did not need medical attention.
