(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On January 31, 2017 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver operating a black Dodge vehicle in Markdale, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Police stopped the suspect vehicle on Margaret Avenue in Markdale and found the driver to be intoxicated. He was arrested him for impaired driving and transported to the Markdale Detachment for breath tests, which he refused to do.
A quantity of liquor was seized from the vehicle, which was towed
56-year old Larry RISK of the Municipality of Grey Highlands was charged with driving a motor vehicle while his ability was impaired by alcohol and failing/refusing to provide a sample of his breath.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 16, 2017.
