(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – Officers from Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a weapons call on Grey Rd. 124 in Singhampton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, which turned out to be unfounded.
On March 11, 2017 at approximately 11:53 p.m., Grey County OPP received a report of a male claiming he had been shot and that someone was still shooting at him.
Officers from Grey County OPP and Huronia West OPP responded and located the male outside a residence on Grey Rd. 124. The male, who was known to police, did not have any signs of injury. The 51-year old man from Wasaga Beach was taken to hospital for assessment. Alcohol and drugs were a factor in the incident.
