$27,000 In Tools Stolen From Tuck And Trailer On Hwy 23

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Monday March 13, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of the theft of a large amount of tools from a truck and trailer that had been parked over the weekend at a business on Road 164 (Highway 23) in the Municipality of North Perth.

Investigation revealed that the theft occurred on Saturday March 11, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m. The suspect(s) forcibly entered the 18′ enclosed trailer and removed tools. Items were also stolen from an aluminum tool storage box that had been mounted to the bed of the pick-up truck.

Items taken included:

Dewalt tool set, including grinder, drills and chargers, yellow in color

Cordless hammer drill and grinder

Miller welder, blue in color

CST 280 welder

Hilti Hammer

Thermodynamic hand plasma cutter

Makita grinder and impact drill, teal in color

Stihl concrete saw

Honda generator, red in color

Total value of items taken is estimated to be approximately $27,000.
