(GREY COUNTY, ON) – Two suspended drivers have been issued Part III Summonses to appear in court after they were found operating motor vehicles.
On March 12, 2017, at approximately 7:49 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Sykes St. N. in the Municipality of Meaford. The driver of the 2017 Dodge Ram pick-up truck was found to be suspended. The 44-year old male from Barrie, Ontario, is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on May 29, 2017.
On March 13, 2017, at approximately 1:44 a.m., Grey County OPP conducted a traffic stop on Grey Rd. 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The driver of the 2010 Kia Rondo was found to be suspended. The 28-year old male, from Owen Sound, is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on May 8, 2017.
His passenger, a 48- year old male from Arran-Elderslie Township, was charged with cause motor vehicle to operate without insurance” under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA). He is scheduled to appear in court on May 8
