WEST PERTH — One person has been charged following a motor vehicle collision in the Municipality of West Perth.
On Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, shortly after 8 p.m. the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a collision involving a parked vehicle on St. David Street in the Town of Mitchell.
Police attend the scene and the driver of the motor vehicle, a 17-year-old male, was subsequently arrested and charged with the following criminal code offences:
- Operation while impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired
