Motorcyclist charged in Churchill Drive collision

Barrie Police have charged a motorcyclist involved in a collision on Churchill Drive on July 15, 2026.

Through the investigation, police determined the motorcycle was travelling behind the tow truck westbound on Churchill Drive. The motorcycle attempted to pass the tow truck on the inside as the truck made a right turn into a parking lot.

On Sept. 2, 2026, an officer with the Barrie Police Traffic Unit charged the 21-year-old man from Barrie with careless driving, under the Highway Traffic Act.
