Anonymous Drunk Driver In Hanover

On Sunday, April 12th, 2026, members of the Hanover Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on 10th Street. A traffic stop was completed, and the driver spoken to. As a result of that conversation, police obtained samples of the driver’s breath which were nearly two times the legal limit of alcohol. As a result, Police have charged a 42-year-old Hanover man under the Criminal Code with Impaired Operation and Over 80mgs. His driver’s license was suspended for 90-days, and his vehicle impounded. He was released with an upcoming court date in Walkerton.
