Andrew LEMME – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – Members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation involving of a lawn tractor on King Street in the Town of Caledon.

On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a Caledon officer observed an individual operating a lawn tractor on King Street, near Highway 10, in the Town of Caledon during foggy conditions with reduced visibility and without reflective clothing. An impaired driving investigation was subsequently initiated.

As a result of the investigation, Andrew LEMME, 57-years-old from Caledon, was charged with:

• Operation while Impaired – alcohol

• Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

• Operation while Prohibited

• Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday, April 3, 2026.

The OPP would like to remind the public that operating any motorized vehicle while impaired, including lawn tractors and farm equipment, poses a significant risk to the driver and the public. If you suspect someone is driving impaired, call 911 to report immediately and help keep your community safe.
