(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – A Wingham driver is charged following a collision outside of Moorefield.
On March 23, 2026, at approximately 9:45 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 9, outside of Moorefield, involving a tractor trailer.
There were no reported injuries and there were no animals on board the trailer.
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old from Wingham, is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Careless driving
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Guelph at a later date.
